I understand Moses’ reluctance to accept God’s unbelievable call on his life. Moses, like all of us, had fears. He couldn’t believe that God could use him. He didn’t want God to mess with his comfortable life. But the more Moses tried to convince God that He had chosen the wrong man, the more angry & frustrated God got with him. Yes “You” Can

I think that we (church leaders in the West) have done a great disservice to the body of believers-the church. For too long we have created and perpetuated the expectation that the pastor/paid staff are the ones who do ministry. We’ve created a false dichotomy between pastors and lay people. But let me just say that mission and ministry are not above anyone’s pay grade! In fact, quit the opposite is true. The people who tend to have the largest impact, who reach deepest into the dark places and have the most opportunity to change lives are lay people-nonprofessional non paid Christians who are living out their faith in all that they do and everywhere they go.
